Mrs. Zannie Christine Muse, age 85 of Resaca, GA, departed this life Monday March 23, 2015 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center in Floyd County surrounded by her family. Zannie was born January 6, 1930, to the late, Mr Isaac Thaniel Holden and Mrs. Vallie Lavonia Freeman. She was also proceeded in death by sons, Benny Fennell and Mark Muse; brothers, Jay Holden, Wyatt Holden, Hannan Holden; sisters, Ellie Benson, Glesty Holden, Minnie Lankford, Etta Ragsdale, Omer Blalock, Martha St. Aubin and Vinnie Lankford.

Zannie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Douglas Muse of Dalton, Ga, daughters, Shirley and Paul Wilkey, Nena and Danny White, all of Calhoun, GA, Sue and Kerry Hix of Chatsworh, GA, and Pamela and Boyd Kimbrell of Dalton, GA; sons, Jimmy Fennell and Danny and Deborah Fennell all of Dalton, Ga; sister, Betty and Wallace Adair of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Isaac Thaniel Holden Jr. and Ella Holden of Douglasville, GA, Herman and Mildred Holden of Dallas, GA, and George Holden of Mississippi. Zannie was the grandmother of 23 and the great grandmother of 39 and the great- great grandmother of one.

The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Zannie Christine Muse will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday March 26, 2015 from the chapel of Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Pastor Barry Brock and Pastor Roger Baker officiating. She will be laid to rest Fairview Cemetery at Hall Memorial Baptist Church in Resaca, GA, with Jason Fennell, Nathan Fennell, Anthony White, Isaac White, Aaron Hix, Creighton Hix and Ross Hix serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel Wednesday March 25, 2015 from 4:00 p.m til 9:00 p.m.
