Mrs. Winnie Mae Key Quarles, age 93, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life early Monday morning, September 7, 2020 at Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 17, 1927 in Gilmer County, a daughter of the late Harley and Beulah Starks Key. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Ethel Key, sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Tony Laurie, grandson, Timothy Ray. Winnie always loved to attend church. She was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. She loved everyone she came in contact with and everyone loved her. She loved her family with her whole heart and loved to spend time with them.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Roy Ray, Patsy and Fred Ray of Chatsworth, GA, Kathy and Jeff Coker of Cartersville, GA; special friend, Linda Pierce od Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Greg Ray, Melissa and Tony Smith, Colin and Trena Ray, Keith Stanley, Matthew and Siera Hawkins, Tiffany and David Slaughter; several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great great great grandchildren.

A private family Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Winnie Mae Key Quarles will be held Saturday September 26, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
