Mrs. Wilma Sue Jennings Pate, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, January 5, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 11, 1938 in Texas, a daughter of the late Robert Luna and Effie Mae Moon Jennings. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, James and Odell Jennings, sisters, Lucille Favors, Etta Mae and Joe Lanier. She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Mark and Roxanne Pate of Chatsworth, GA, John Pate of Cohutta, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Judy Houck of Cohutta, GA, Debra and Lonnie Oates of Dalton, GA; brother, Tom Jennings of Mt. Pleasant, TN; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wilma Sue Jennings Pate will be held Friday January 10, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, TN . The family will receive friends at Neal Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. She will be laid to rest at the Ethridge Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.

A memorial service will be held Saturday January 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
