Mrs. Wilma Ann McGill, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the local hospital. Wilma was born October 13, 1946 in Ringgold, Georgia, a daughter of the late Joseph Hazel Ruth Smith Calhoun. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Leroy Mayford McGill, daughters, Brenda Kay Rubio, Laura Lee Ortiz, brother, Jackie Calhoun.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Louise McGill of Chatsworth, GA, Michael and Tonya McGill of Ellijay, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Sheila Ann Rodriguez, Rita Renee Castillo of North Carolina, Teresa Annette and Greg Simmons, Sherrie Lynn Cervantes of Dalton, GA; sisters, Brenda Weaver of Tunnel Hill, GA, Shirley McTaggart of Calhoun, GA, Raye Howell of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wilma Ann McGill will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with George Cross officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
