Mrs. Willie Frances Tuck, of Dalton, Georgia, peacefully departed this life Sunday morning, June 4, 2017 at the Chatsworth Health Care. Willie Frances was born February 13, 1926 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ralph and Nannie Irene Moreland Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Hayden Tuck, a brother, Clarence Green and a sister-in-law, Penny Green.
Willie Frances was a wonderful cook and enjoyed doing for others. She had a kind and gentle spirit and was a true example of a Christian lady. Sunday was her favorite day of the week and looked forward to going to church. She was always impeccably dressed and perfectly matched. She loved to travel and going to new places and was always herself. She lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She loved reading the bible and spending time with her family, friends and her dogs, Lady and Hooch. Willie Frances was retired from World Carpet and was a member of New Zion Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Teresa Tuck, Howard and Deborah Tuck all of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Donald Tuck, Tina Tuck and Jimmy McNeese, Donna and Mark Henderson, Terra Tuck and Chris and Rhonda Tuck; brother, Riley Green; sister-in-law, Jane Green Reece; special friend, Lynn; eight great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Willie Frances Tuck will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Mike Blalock and Reverend Gerald Foster officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at New Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Harold Goforth, Donald Goforth, Daniel Tuck, Tyler Tuck, Eric East and Trey Evans serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel Monday June 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
