Mr. William Sherman Pack, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the local hospital. William was born February 26, 1943 in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Bennie and Mamie Bridges Pack. He was also preceded in death by his wives, Mary Pack and Gloria Chitwood Pack, brother, Clinton Pack. William was a member of South Calhoun Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Wright and Bobby Baker of Dalton, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Loyd and Janice Pack of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Ron McIntyre of Resaca, GA, Juline and Bob McKay of Dalton, GA, Barbara and Tommy Scott of Dawnville, GA, Vickie Lovette of Cleveland, TN; granddaughter, Beth Stanley; nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. William Sherman Pack will be held Friday April 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Gary Bowman and Barry Tow officiating. Interment will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
