Mr. William F. "Bill" Locke, age 67, of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life Monday, January 18, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 28, 1953 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late William Luther  and Mildred Raper Locke, He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rickey Locke. He was a member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church and Gideons International. He was a supervisor at Shaw Plant 81 for 45 years. Bill was loved and admired by anyone who knew him. He loved the Lord and giving his testimony. As a Gideon he raised money to buy Bibles to reach others. Bill was a loyal husband and father and will be missed everyday

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy McKeehan Locke of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Joey Boatwright of Ringgold, GA; grandson, Jace Boatwright of Ringgold, GA; uncle and aunt, L.C. and Lisa Burkett of Hendersonville, TN; niece, Jennifer and Jeremy Morrison of Nashville, TN; nephew, Rick and Krista Locke of Dalton, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. William F. "Bill" Locke will be held Saturday January 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
