Mr. William Earl Johnson, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday afternoon, December 29, 2024, at a local hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 7, 1957 in Putnam, Connecticut. He was preceded in death by his father Millard Johnson, mother Teresa Crane, sister Carolyn Apostol.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah Marie Johnson of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Steven Mahaffey of Ringgold, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ty and Linda Johnson of East Ridge, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Kristy and Bill Thomas of Missouri; grandchildren, Eleanor Mahaffey, Pierce Mahaffey; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Cancer Society.
