Mr. William "Bill" Jefferson Holt, 65, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Bill was born September 25, 1952 in Georgia, a son of the Victor and Beatrice Hale Holt. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Holt and Paul Holt.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Lisa Holt of Fairmount, GA, David and Danielle Holt of Ranger, GA, Timothy and Barbara Holt of Calhoun, GA, Beverly Holt of Fairmount, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Martha and Bobby Childers of Fairmount, GA, Rose Mary Burns of Calhoun, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. William "Bill" Jefferson Holt will be held Saturday December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Shawn Nation officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow in the Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery.
