William Wesley Curtiss II, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his residence with by his daughter by his side. William was born on March 12, 1942 in Washington DC, a son to the late William and Amie Williams Curtiss. He was also preceded by a son Michael Dean Curtiss. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Con Agra.

He is survived by daughters; Carrie Carson of Dalton, GA, Teresa Willson of Acworth, GA, a son William Wesley Willson of Tennessee,. Brothers; Charles "Bob" Curtiss of Alaska, Henry of East Ridge, TN and George Curtiss of Virginia. He had 6 grandchildren; Joseph Curtiss, Jaquenette Willson, William Willson, Andrew Herrera, Sadie Herrera, Wesley Nicole Wilson, Oscar Julian Childs and Owen Jaxon Skidmore.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. William Wesley Curtiss II will be held Monday at 10:00 am June 12, 2017 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion post #112. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening June 7, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
