Mr. William Stanton Akridge, age 47, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Friday, February 4, 2022. He was born July 2, 1974 in Albany, GA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Jamie Davis Akridge; children, Mary Emma Akridge, Merrill Shepherd Akridge, all of Calhoun, GA; parents, Garvin and Pamela Akridge of Dothan, AL, William Stanton and Suzie Glass of Albany, GA; siblings, Emily and Bob Gibbs of Lilburn, GA, Anna and Shaun Lokey of Dothan, AL Jackson and Trena Glass of Albany, GA, Leslie Craver of Tallahassee, FL, Joshua and Jaylynn Glass of Albany, GA, Lowry and Tripp McRee of Albany, GA; father and mother-in-law, Don and Bobbie Davis; sister-in-law, Shannon Davis  of Ellijay, GA; many cherished nieces and nephews.

Service to honor the life of Stan Akridge will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Shane Busby officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
