Mrs. Willa Mae Phillips, age 91, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Monday August 23, 2021 at Quinton Memorial Health Care. Willa was born September 29, 1929 in Blue Ridge, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Elmer Dillard Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Boyd Phillps; sister, Loretta Farness; daughter-in-law, Frances Phillips. Willa was a member of the Chatsworth Church of Christ, she love to sew, garden and spending time with her family.

Willa is survived by her sons, Donald and Arlene Phillips of Watkinsville, GA, Ronald Phillips of Chatsworth, GA, Steven Phillips of also of Chatsworth, GA; daughters, Cathy and Mark Carden of Canton, GA and Yvonne and Tony Coley of Rocky Face, GA; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will hold a memorial service for Willa at a later date to celebrate her life.
