Mr. Wendell Fred Peebles, age 53, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away on Sunday morning, January 26, 2025, at a local hospital. He was born August 27, 1971 in Augusta, GA. He was preceded in death by is father Wendell Peebles, mother Judy Murphy. He was a loyal employee of Mohawk for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Peebles of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Sabrina Peebles and Eric Ricks of Dearing, GA, Natalie and Tanner Willamson of Thomason, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Tyler Thomason of Cartersville, GA, Casey Thomason and Elizabeth Saldivar of Chatsworth, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Bobby Lane of Jackson, GA; mother-in-law, Herita LaRue of Dalton, GA; brother-in-law, Darin and Jenny Jones of San Antonio, TX; special uncle, Amos Miller of Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren, Abigail Thomason, Alex Morrison, Fynnleigh-Joy Thomason, Xander Inglett, Jenson Ricks, Colson Williamson; several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Wendell Fred Peebles will be held Thursday January 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Denny Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
