Mr. Wayland Douglas Crisp, age 67 of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 25, 1954 in Scottsboro, Alabama, a son of the late Thomas and Helen Smith Crisp. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Crisp. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jennifer Kay Crisp of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Shelley Arthur of Chatsworth, Georgia, Brandon and Irma Crisp of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Ronnie Crisp, Garland Crisp; sister, Charlotte Tate all of Rossville, Georgia; grandchildren, Lucas Daniel Arthur, Ivan Aleksandar Crisp; nieces and nephews, Daniel Crisp, Amber Hahn, Laura Tate, Amanda Crisp, Tommy Atherton, Valerie Keller.

Memorial service will be held Monday July 26, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
