Mr. Warren Boyd McGill, age 96, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening, July 13, 2020 at Ridgewood Manor. He was born November 29, 1923 in Blue Ridge, GA, a son of the late Lonnie and Ollie Early McGill. He was also preceded in death by his wife Magadline Hollis McGill, sons, Warren Junior McGill, Ted McGill, Dennis McGill, Harlin Eugene McGill, brothers, Will McGill, Dude McGill, Elmer McGill, Cliff McGill.

He is survived by his son, Judy McGill; daughters and sons-in-law, Lucille and Larry Layman, Linda and Sam Ash, Marcelle Cantrell, Rita Faye Stern all of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Racheal and Fred Schultz, Eda Mae, Essie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Warren Boyd McGill will be held Friday July 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jackie Ellington officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Due to the National health crisis, social distancing is required and mask are recommended.
