Mrs. Wanda Bernice Hensley, age 61 of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Advent Health Gordon. Wanda was born January 10, 1961 in Austell, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Sanders Henson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Dennis Henson, Charlie Wayne Henson, Thomas Henson, Diane Henson and Joy Brewer.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Jackie Hensley, sons, Sherman and Holly Hensley of Dalton, Georgia, Coy Hensley of Dalton, Georgia, Ralph and Nicole Hensley of Chatsworth, Georgia, James and Tara Arends of Arkansas; daughters, Dana and Michael Bryson of Eton, Georgia, Rhonda and Robert Kilgore of Crandall, Georgia, Sandy and Brandon LaRue of Rocky Face, Georgia, Keshia and Matthew Gonzalez of Dalton, Georgia, thirty-eight grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Wanda Bernice Hensley will be held, Friday April 8, 2022 at Ponders Melrose Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Roy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Berean Baptist Church with Matthew Gonzalez, Sherman Hensley, Coy Hensley, Brandon LaRue, Caleb Culberson, Brett Bryson, Jackie Hensley, Cayden Hensley serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Friday April 8, 2022 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 3:00 p.m.
