Mr. Walter Lowe, age 70, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, morning June 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 25, 1952 in Harriman, Tennessee, a son of the late Turney and Myrtle Phillips Lowe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Armilda Lowe, son, James Daniels, brother, Ernest Lowe, sisters, Hazel Byrge, Dorothy Lowe. Walter was a Deacon at the Well.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lowe of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Tonya Daniels of Powell, TN; LeAnne Ibarra of Harriman, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn Lowe of Jamestown, TN, Billy and Linda Lowe of Rocky Top, TN, Jerry and Lucy of Jamestown, TN; sisters and brother-in-law, Hailey Taylor of Winfield, TN, Ollie and Sammy Taylor of Peatross, TN, Dellie Trumbell of Winnfield, TN; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Walter Lowe will be held Saturday June 17, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Tony Abernathy and Dennis Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Zach Bright, Michael Miracle, David Cross, Danny Carroll, George Kirkland, Charles Bryant and Jeff Miles serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
