Mr. Walter Elleman, 70, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday evening July 10, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. He was born July 28, 1947 in South Pittsburg, TN, a son of the late Rudolph Cyrus and Virginia Evers Elleman.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Elleman of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Billy Taylor of Chatsworth, GA, Amanda and Dean Stokes of Ranger, GA, Jada Elleman of Chatsworth, GA; son, Chris Edgar of Scottsboro, AL; sister, Sarah Paschal of Bridgeport, AL; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Walter Elleman will be held Friday July 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Wayne Cofield officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
