Mr. Waldermar "Wally" George Stabenow, age 82, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away Tuesday May 31, 2022, at his residence. Wally was born April 29, 1940 in St. Paul, Minnesotta, the son of the late Rhinhardt and Leona Hobbin Stabenow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Blankenship Ray Stabenow. Wally was a member of the United States Army and serve 24 years, a veteran of the Vietnam War. Wally was also a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

Wally is survived by his; sons and daughter-in-law, David Ray and Audrey of Calhoun, Georgia, Donny and Loria Ray of Dalton, and Charlie Ray of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister, Virginia Bradley of Minneapolis, MN brother, Dale Stabenow of Florida; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Waldermar "Wally" George Stabenow will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Brother Clyde McEntyre. Mr. Stabenow will be laid to rest at Gordon Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the service hour of 1:00 PM at Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
