Mrs. Virginia Jo "Ginny" Warnix, age 88, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Pruitt Health Care in Lafayette, GA. She was born October 24, 1933 in Meigs County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Ruby Henderson, husband, James "Jim" Warnix, sister, Reba Monteen Speck. She loved bowling and singing with the Golden Echoes.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Gerald Bishop of Chatsworth, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Melissa Warnix, Michael and Sonya Pulliam of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Crystal Bishop, Gabriel Bishop; great grandchildren, Levi Bishop, Tristan Deal, Shauna Bishop.

Service to celebrate the life Mrs. Virginia Jo "Ginny" Warnix will be held Saturday August 20, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
