Ms. Virginia Jo Stewart Call, age 79, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Thursday February 1, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Joe and Abbie Shelton Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Patterson, son Tracy Call, brother Ronnie Stewart, sister Shirley Bryson.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Max Wells of Rocky Face, GA, Dwight and Joyce Wells, Ben Wells, Tony Call, Clay and Judy Call all of Dalton, GA; daughter, Sandra Call of Sugar Valley, GA; brother, Stevie Stewart of Dalton, GA; sister and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Phillip Turner of Chatsworth, GA, James Bryson of Dalton, GA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Virginia Jo Stewart Call will be held Friday February 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with James Watts officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
