Virgil Leon Henley, age 81, of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1934 in Manchester, Tennessee, a son of the late Lee Andy and Minnie Henley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe, Jerry and Lamar Henley, sisters, Nanilee Nancy Curvin, Clara Munger, Berna Henley and Jean Weathers.. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy in the Korean War. He worked for Roadway Express for more than thirty years. He was an artist who had his artwork displayed in the Chattanooga Art Gallery in the 1960's.

He is survived by his son, Joe Tully of Crandall, GA; sister, Joyce Davis of Ringgold, GA; brother, Roland Henley of Hixson, TN; several nieces and nephews.
