Mr. Victor Manuel Salazar Sr.  age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, July 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 12, 1958 in Reynosa, Mexico, a son of the late Manuel Salazar and Rita Salazar Beltran. He was also preceded in death by his brother Julio Salazar.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Olivia Salazar Sotelo of the residence; children, Veronica Flores, Victor Salazar Jr. and Karla Carranza, Erica and Fernando Perez, Kate Salazar; sisters and brother, Rosa and Ruben Garcia, Nazario and Rebeca Salazar, Dora Riano Price; grandchildren, Adrian, Victoria, Tristen, Mason and Noah; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday July 18 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Arturo Merriman officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
