Mr. Victor Phillip "Vic" Allred, age 81, of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday June 13, 2023, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Vic was born February 5, 1942, in Cartersville, Georgia, a son of the late T.H. and Colleen Wilson Allred.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, James W. "Jim" Allred, sister-in-law, Kristy Allred and father-in-law, Doug Cruse.

Vic was a 1960 graduate of Cartersville High School and Berry College. He was the former owner of CDC Commercial Carpet, LLC, and Vic's BBQ and Such in Rocky Face, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Angela "Angie" Allred of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Katrina Allred of Seminole, FL, Jarod Allred and Dayna of Marietta, GA, and Jacob and Candice Parsons of Chatsworth, GA; daughters, Jasmine Allred Howard of Calhoun, GA, Brittany Parsons and Victoria Anne Allred both of Resaca, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Jim Price of Fairburn, GA; brother, Ted Allred Newnan, GA, and Cindy Allred of Dalton, GA; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Darrell Summey of Chatsworth, GA; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Maria and Rick Carter of Cohutta, GA, and B.J. Cruse of Tunnel Hill, GA; special dog and his best friend, Buddy; grandmother-in-law, Marie Smith of Eton, GA; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Victor Phillip "Vic" Allred will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum with Chase Allred, Colton Allred, Jarod Allred, Jordan Allred, Jay Parker, Bryant Howard, Bryson Howard, and Jacob Parsons honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 12:00 p.m. noon Monday until the service hour.
