Mrs. Vicki Lynn Goss age 66, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Friday November 15, 2019 at the local hospital.  Vicki was born November 26, 1952 in Fulton County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Raymond and Juanita Watkins Hicks.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Hicks.  She was a 1970 graduate of O'Keefe High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and worked many years at Hamilton Medical Center and Valley Point Middle School in the cafeteria.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Dawnville, Georgia.  She enjoyed bird watching, working in her flower garden and also photography.  She was her happiest sitting on her back porch.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Eddie Goss, and would have celebrated their forty-second wedding anniversary, November 23, 2019; son, Nicholas Goss; daughters and son-in-law, Ginger Goss, Carrie and Mike Southerland; grandchildren, Timothy Southerland, Taylor Southerland, Lauren Whitfield and Ashley Whitfield all of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Beverly Hall of Dallas, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law,  Ronnie and Linda Hicks of Dalton, GA, and Larry and Dyann Hicks of Tunnel Hill, GA; mother-in-law, Sue Goss of Dalton, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kennie and Marie Goss of Dalton, GA, and Dana and Kim Goss of Harrison, TN; special friends, Valerie and Randy Shoates of Chatsworth, GA; aunts, uncles and a host of very special nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Vicki Lynn Goss will be held Monday morning, November 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Dixon and Reverend Kennie Goss officiating. She will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with her family and close friends serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 8:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
