Mrs. Urte Maria Jensen, age 88, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Thursday December 20, 2018 at the Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She was born July 29, 1930 in Bolen, Germany a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Freida Neckien. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otto J. Jensen, brother, Dietrich Neckien.

She is survived by her sons, Olaf Jensen of Logan, UT, Uwe Jensen of Dalton, GA; brother, Christian Neckien of Dalton, GA; sister-in-law, Christa Neckien of Dalton, GA; two grandchildren.

At her request she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
