Mr. Uleysse G. Young, age 61, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday March 8, 2016 at the local hospital. Uleyesse was born March 19, 1954 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Charlie and Florence Gray Young. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie C.W. Young, Glenn and Linda Young, Wayne "Buddy" and Tonya Young all of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Emma Jean and Charles Pritchett, Loretta Thompson and Jimmy Patterson of Chatsworth, GA, Marie McPherson of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Uleysse G. Young will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Mark Bowen, Reverend Tim Cheatem and Reverend Joe Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Mineral Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday.
