Mr. Tyler Jeffrey Skelly, age 26, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday morning, April 29, 2014 at the V. A. in Atlanta, GA. Tyler was born March 3, 1988 in Hayward, California. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by his mother Stacy Skelly of Dalton, GA, brothers; Christiaan Skelly of Lafayette, GA, Dylon Skelly of Chickamauga, GA, Carter Skelly of Harrison, TN. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Bob and Joan Evans of Fairfield Glade, TN, paternal grandparents Rich and Reajean Skelly of Redding, CA, Aunt and Uncle; Rochelle and Matt Meintz of Huntington Beach, CA, cousins Amanda and Nathan Meintz also of Huntington Beach, CA and a nephew Wryn Skelly of Chickamauga.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Tyler Jeffrey Skelly will be held Monday May 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. He will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga with full military honors at 2:00PM Monday May 5, 2014.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
