IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ty Aaron
Morgan
October 10, 1988 – May 18, 2025
Mr. Ty Aaron Morgan, age 36, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the local hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Ty was born October 10, 1988, in Dalton, Georgia, and was diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Though non-verbal, Ty could see and hear and found meaningful ways to communicate, connecting deeply with those around him. His love was boundless—pure, joyful, and freely given. Despite his challenges, Ty's spirit was strong, and his presence brought immeasurable joy and light to all who knew him.
He received his graduate degree from Northwest High School in 2011. Ty's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and connection. The depth of love he shared, and the love with which he was surrounded, cannot be measured.
Ty was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hoyet Aaron, and his great-grandparents, Boyd and Martha Stout, Cecile Joyce, and Emory and Celess Aaron.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Sheilena and James Smith; his loving grandparents, Sheila Aaron, and J.M. and Gail Smith; aunts and uncles, Amy Smith and Gregg Guinn, Kim and Joey Lewis—all of Dalton, GA; and several cousins.
Ty's family is especially grateful to the many caregivers who poured love, patience, and compassion into his life over the years. Their devotion meant the world to Ty and to those who loved him. His family's hearts are broken, but they are filled with gratitude for the care he received and the joy he gave.
