Mr. Troy L. G. Fox, age 87 of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, November 19, 2015. Troy was born April 21, 1928, in Rome, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Carolyn Fox; sons, Bobby Mitchell Fox and Kyle Kent Fox; sisters, Mary Dell Parrott, Sybil Clark, and Vivian Joette Fox. Mr. Fox was retired from the United States Navy after twenty five years of service.

Mr. Troy L.G. Fox is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Keith K. and Kathleen Fox, Ripley, MS.; grandsons, Gabe Fox, Ripley, MS.; Mitchell Fox of Pontiac, MI.; granddaughter, Courtney Rutherford and husband Jackie Rutherford; great-grandchildren, Katie Beth and Karson Rutherford, all of Falkner, MS., Miley Fox of Resaca, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Troy L. G. Fox will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Keith Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
