Mr. Trevin Jack McCarter, age 17, of Ellijay, Georgia, departed this life February 15, 2024, in Ellijay, Georgia, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Trevin was born April 2, 2006 in Dalton, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Mosteller, James Riley, great grandparents, Raymond and Eudine Vick, cousins, Katie and Katelyn Mosteller.

He is survived by his parents, Marty and Sebina McCarter of Dalton, GA, Jill and John Humphries of Chatsworth, GA; mom and dad, Jackie and April Mosteller of Ellijay, GA, mom, Cheryl Hackthorne of Chatsworth, GA; grandparents, Glenda and Larry King of Chatsworth, GA, Buford and Quanita McCarter of Dalton, GA, Jim and Phyllis Millsap of Dalton, GA, Sylvia Riley of Chatsworth, GA; uncle and aunt, Stacy and Buffy Mosteller of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Shawn and Shelby Coram, Steve Pettigrew of Chatsworth, GA, Wyatt McCarter of Dalton, GA, Cody Ponders, Logan Ponders of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Morgan McCarter Gibson of Dalton, GA, Chloe King o Chatsworth, GA, Sadee King of Ellijay, GA, Felecity Pettigrew of Chatsworth, GA; cousins, Annie and Ada Mosteller; nieces and nephew, Caroline and Amelia Coram, Cambreigh Pettigrew, Memphis and Yaretzi Ponders, Kelsie Rogers, Corbin; several other cousins.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday March 9, 2024 with Greg Young Officiating.
