Mr. Tommy Clinton Young, age 57, of Talking Rock, Georgia, departed this life Thursday December 9, 2021 his residence. He was born May 25, 1964 in Jasper, GA a son of the late Loyd and Roselee Stone Young.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Young and Nichole Stone of Jasper, GA, Nickie and Robert Kelley of Fairmount, GA, Cherie and Jon Clark of Talking Rock, GA, Candance Gordy of Fairmount, GA, Kasey and Herman Shaffer of Calhoun, GA, Breanne Whitlock of Talking Rock, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, J.M. Young of Fairmount, GA, Raymond and Vickie Young of Talking Rock, GA, Timmy Young of Ranger, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy Scoggins of Calhoun, GA, Cindy and Nick McPherson of Ranger, GA; eleven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Tommy Clinton Young will be held Monday December 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Black Knob Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Chastain officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Matthew Young, Nick McPherson, Phillip Young, Ronald Patterson, Jeremy Lacey, Jason Young, Dalton Holt, Tucker Kelley and Austin Childers will serve as pallbearers. Beau Young, Sawyer Edens, Trenton Young, Jake Young, Garrett McPherson, Dawson Young, and Riley Townsend will serve honorary pallbearers.
