Mr. Tommy Joe Thomason age 69, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday October 12, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 19, 1957 in Ringgold, Georgia, a son of the late James William Thomason Sr. and Beulah Elizabeth Barks Thomason. He was also preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law James William Thomason Jr. and Rebecca Thomason, sister Margarite Anne Morgan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Rhonda “Ronnie” Thomason of the residence; his children, Jodi and Chris Dominick, Heather and Clay Dominick of Dalton, GA; Jamie and Steven Nance of Ringgold, GA, Jack and Megan Dunkel of Sarasota, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Tammy Thomason of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Logan Dominick, Alekzandra Dominick, Chloe Dominick, Callie Dunkel, Carson Dunkel, Eli Nance; great grandchildren, Conway Evans, River Dominick, nieces and nephews.

At Tommy’s request no services will be held at this time.
