Mrs. Tina Jeanette Jernigan , age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the local hospital. Tina was born August 16, 1963 in Ellijay, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Jernigan, father, Willard Mooney, mother, Asta Garrahan, sister, Mary Merrell.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Tate, Cindy Ann Brackett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and David Anderson of Tunnel Hill, GA, Orethea and Tim Ratcliff of Dalton, GA, Susan Carroll of Resaca, GA; five grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Tina Jeanette Jernigan will be held Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Denny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
