Mr. Timothy "Charles" Ray AKA Bug Eye, age 49, of Copper Hill, Tennessee, departed this life Friday January 3, 2013 at Murphy Medical Center. Charles was born on November 5, 1964 in Bakersfield, California. He was preceded in death by a brother; Milton Ray. He really enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
Charles is survived by his wife Deborah Ray of the residence, his parents; Charles "Milton" Ray of Calhoun, GA and Alma Ledford Ray of Dalton ,Georgia, a son Cody Ray of Dover Delaware, daughters and son in law; Lisa and Jonathan Stansel of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Tammi Ray of Riverdale, Georgia, step children; Mike, Gene, and Anthony Mathews and Alisha McDaniel. He is also survived by brothers and sister in laws; Thomas and Amy Ray of Dalton, GA, Johnny Ray of Dalton, GA and Michael and Nicole Ray also of Dalton, GA, Sisters and brother in law; Wanda and Jimmy Ray of Cartersville, GA and Tina Ray of Dalton, GA. Charles had eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Charles Ray will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel with PastorTimmy Campbellofficiating.
