Mr. Timothy "Tim" Dwayne Ketchem, age 41, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Hamilton Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1980 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Ketchem, grandmother, Lois Cole, grandfather, Joe F. Ketchem.

He is survived by his husband, Will Schmerge of the residence; special pet, Jackson; his parents, Patricia and Charlie Kennedy of Dalton, GA, Penny Williams of Cohutta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Amanda Ketchem of Meridian, MS; sisters, Ashley Taylor of Dalton, GA, Natasha Ketchem of Cohutta, GA; cousins, Christie and Steve Green of Calhoun, GA, Scott Hawkins of Tunnel Hill, GA; nephews, Zander Crider, Joshua Taylor Jr., Wade Wilcox, Aiden Ketchem, Brogan Ketchem; special friends, Eric Canfield, Todd Russell of Atlanta, GA, Kelly Bearden of Resaca, GA.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy "Tim" Dwayne Ketchem will be held Wednesday June 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Landon Zilbert officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
