Mr. Thomas Leon "Tommy" Sluder age 52 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Friday May 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1966 in Cartersville, GA, a son of the late Charles Jordan and Betty Heath Sluder. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeffery Sluder, sister, Ann Edge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Angela Curtis "Angie" Sluder of the residence, daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Chris Dominick, Heather and Clay Dominick of Dalton, GA, Alisha and Ben Cowan of Ringgold, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Russell and Crystal Sluder of Dalton, GA, Billy Sluder of Calhoun, GA; brother-in-law, Brian and Dia Curtis of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Logan, Alekzandra and Chloe Dominick, Benjamin, Savannah, Daniel and Jax Cowan; niece, Megan and Matt Ledford; several other nieces and nephews,

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas Leon "Tommy" Sluder will be held Thursday May 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend JR Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
