Mr. Thomas Jeffrey Ray age 56 of Dalton departed this life Tuesday July 16, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was born July 15, 1963 in Atlanta, GA, the son of the late Charles Milton Ray. Thomas was also preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy "Charles" Ray and Milton Ray. Thomas loved to spend his time fishing.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Alma Ledford Ray, companion, Shelby Pack, former wife, Anna Maria Hulsey; sons, Brandon Hulsey, Thomas "T.J" Jeffery Ray Jr, Jeffery Doyle Ray; daughters, Chasity Curtis, Kayla Ray, Ashley Ray, Heather Ray, April Ray, Hazeli Ray, Breanne Tilley; step-children, Nevaeh Cochran, Chasitdy Cochran; brothers, Johnny Ray, Michael Ray, Daniel Crosswhite; sisters, Wanda Buttrum and Tina Ray, and 19 grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Thomas will be held Saturday July 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm from Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Ken Smith and his brother-in-law, Ronald Eugene Stiles officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday July 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour of 7:00 p.m.
