Mr. Thomas Luther Smith, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, July 25, 2013 at the local hospital. Thomas was born September 12, 1928 in Murray County, GA, a son of the late Olan Lee and Grace Richardson Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret C. Smith, five brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Lee Smith of Dalton, GA, Tim and Anita Smith of Chatsworth, GA; daughter, Teresa Morgan of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie and Michael Bennett, Andrew Morgan, Shelly Bohannon, Jeremy Morgan, Tyler Simpson; great grandchild, Ally Bennett, Kyle Miles, Sophie Bohannon, Emma Bohannon.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas Luther Smith will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The American Legion Post 112 will be in charge of military rites.
