Mr. Thomas Avery Garland, age 66, of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Quinton Memorial Health Care. He was born August 16, 1955 in Dalton, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, John Garland, mother, Frances Gladden.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Alicia Garland of Ducktown, TN, Steve and Pam Garland of Dalton, GA, Randy and Donna Garland of Columbus, GA, Ronald and Pamela Garland of Chatsworth, GA, Donald Garland of Young Harris, GA; sister, Judy Boring of Crandall, GA; brother-in-law Marvin Boring of Crandall, GA; special nephew, Paul Bryant of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas Avery Garland will be held Sunday July 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Sharon Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow in the Boring and Garland Cemetery in Crandall, GA.
