Mr. Thomas Lee Farris, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the local hospital. Thomas was born April 29, 1956 in Sweetwater, Tennessee, a son of the late Cecil and Betty Ingram Farris. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Farris.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Susan Whitfield Farris of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonita and Marcos Nazariego-Roblero of Hahira, GA, Amanda and Terry McHan of Chatsworth, GA, Cassandra and Mike Brewer of Cohutta, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, J.J. and Barbara Farris of Hahira, GA, Donald Lee Ring of Dalton, GA; sister, Trisha Dotson of Tennessee; brothers, Randy Farris of Philadelpha, TN, Charles Farris of Niota, TN, and Ronnie Dodson of Sweetwater, TN; seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas Lee Farris will be held Saturday evening, March 28, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jerry Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 3:00 p.m. Saturday until the service hour.
