Mr. Terry Lee Tubbs, age 72 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Saturday October 19, 2019. He was born April 2, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Harold and June Westcott Tubbs. He was a truck driver for most of his life but he also farmed, raised and competed border collies and showed horses including Tennessee Walkers. Like truck driving, farming became another great passion for Terry. He loved his two mules, Jim and Joe, which he won several events with, and you might have seen him heading for weekend brunch behind the pair in their traditional wagon. He also liked to compete in classic car shows before the mules as showing off horsepower was always important to him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sue Tubbs of the residence; children, Christy and Rob Aitchison of Toronto, Canada, Nicole and Dan Braun of Wisconsin, Leslie Romero and Omar Nunez of Ooltewah, TN, Victor and Ninfa Romero of Dalton, GA, Araceli and Jeremy Gann of Dalton, GA,; brother and sister-in-law, Gregg and Teri Tubbs of Florida; grandchildren, Madeleine, Bennett, Justin, Sophia, Natalie, Jeric, Elizabeth, Hugo, Evelyn, Sebastian, Oliver.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Terry Lee Tubbs will be held Saturday November 2, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Friends and Family are welcome to share stories of Terry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 5p.m. on Saturday November 2, 2019.
