Mrs. Terry Jane Franks Duffey Patat, age 87 of Dalton, Ga, departed this life, Monday August 17, 2015. Mrs. Patat was born September 7, 1927 in Lavonia, Georgia, a daughter of the late Moody J. and Minnie O. Smith Franks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tom Patat, grandson, Joseph Kristopher Andrews, brothers, Jones Franks, Bud Franks, sisters, Bremer Jolly, Buris Crowell, Rose Ellen Ray, Eva Nell Moon. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Harl Clifford Mike Duffey III of Rome, GA, James Thomas and Connie Duffey of Villa Rica, GA, Christopher Edward Duffey of Carrollton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Jack Dempsey of Kennesaw, GA, Kay and Chester Chaffin of Dalton, GA; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
