Bishop Temistocles Socrates Caycho Romero, age 65 of Calhoun, Georgia, went on to be with The Lord on Monday October 4, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center. His devoted wife of 35 years, Selomith and daughters were by his side as God led him home.
Temistocles was born March 11, 1956 in Lima, Peru. He began to pursue a career in Journalism, until he had an encounter with God. Since then, Bishop Caycho dedicated his life to the calling he received at 20 years old, which was to preach the Word of God and to serve his community. Over his 44 years of service at the Church of God of Prophecy, Bishop Caycho has served as a National Camp Director, National Youth Director, National Evangelist, Pastor, and District Overseer in his native country, Peru for over 10 years. In 1986, he married the love of his life, Selomith Leticia, with whom he began a new phase as he was appointed National Overseer for Spain and Portugal where he worked for 7 years, and Uruguay for 6 years. Bishop Caycho's life and ministry has impacted many people throughout Latin America, Europe and the United States. In the past 10 years, he served as the North Georgia District Overseer and local Pastor of the Hispanic Church of God of Prophecy in Dalton, GA; and collaborated with other local ministries such as the North Georgia Evangelical Ministerial Alliance, and One Cry Ministries.
Temistocles alias "Tito" was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Máximo Caycho Campos. He is survived by his wife, Selomith Caycho, daughters, Sara Caycho, Laurely Caycho, and Sheryl Caycho; mother, Rosa Paula Romero; brothers, Richard Caycho and family, Roal Caycho and family, and Max Caycho and family; sisters, Elder Caycho Romero and family, and Rosario del Carmen Caycho Romero and family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15th from 2pm until 9pm, and Memorial Service will take place Saturday October 16th at 1pm at the Ponders Funeral Home Chapel in Dalton, GA. Interment will follow Memorial Service from Fain Cemetery in Calhoun, GA.

El obispo Temistocles Socrates Caycho Romero, de 65 años de Calhoun, Georgia, pasó a la presencia del Señor el lunes 4 de octubre de 2021 en el Hamilton Medical Center. Su devota esposa de 35 años, Selomith, y sus hijas estaban a su lado mientras Dios lo conducía a casa.
Temistocles nació el 11 de marzo de 1956 en Lima, Perú. Comenzó a seguir una carrera en periodismo, hasta que tuvo un encuentro con Dios. Desde entonces, el Obispo Caycho dedicó su vida al llamado que recibió a los 20 años, que era predicar la Palabra de Dios y servir a su comunidad. UU. durante los últimos 21 años. La vida y el ministerio del obispo Caycho ha impactado a muchas personas en América Latina, Europa y Estados Unidos. En los últimos 10 años, se desempeñó como Supervisor de Distrito del Norte de Georgia y pastor local de la Iglesia de Dios de la Profecía Hispana en Dalton, GA; y colaboró con otros ministerios locales como la Alianza Ministerial Evangélica del Norte de Georgia, y Ministerios Un Clamor.
Temístocles alias "Tito'' era un esposo, padre, hijo y hermano amoroso. Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Máximo Primitivo Caycho Campos. Le sobreviven su esposa, Selomith Caycho, sus hijas, Sara Caycho, Laurely Caycho, Sheryl Caycho; su madre, Rosa Paula Romero; sus hermanos, Richard Caycho y familia, Roal Caycho y familia, y Max Caycho y familia; y sus hermanas, Elder Caycho y familia, y Rosario del Carmen Caycho y familia.
La familia recibirá a hermanos y amigos el viernes 15 de octubre de 2 pm a 9 pm, y el Servicio Conmemorativo se llevará a cabo el sábado 16 de octubre a la 1 pm en la capilla de la Funeraria Ponders en Dalton, GA. El entierro seguirá al servicio conmemorativo en el Cementerio Fain en Calhoun, GA.
