Mrs. Tammy Elizabeth Newton, age 53 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Thursday June 11, 2020 at the local hospital. She was born November 16, 1966 in Chatsworth, GA a daughter of the late Brenda Green and Jerry Newton. She was also preceded in death by her son, Brent Bennett.

She is survived by her daughters, Cassie Bennett of Chatsworth, GA, Miranda Newton of Indiana; brother, Steve Crider of Dalton, GA; sisters,, Vickie Newton, Sandra Wilkins of Dalton, GA.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday June 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the cemetery on Tuesday.

Due to the national health crisis crowd restrictions and social distancing is recommended.
