Fred Thomas Dagnan and Tammy Jones Dagnan of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Monday December 27, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Fred was born January 21, 1976 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, the son of the late George W. Dagnan. He was also preceded in death by LouiseDagnan. Fred is survived by his daughters, Tabitha Dagnan and her fiancé Justin Lancaster of Dalton, Georgia, Haley Dagnan of Dalton, Georgia; mother and step-father, Joyce and Tim Morris; brothers, Kenneth and Scarlett Dagnan of Dalton, Georgia; sisters, Michelle and Michael Parsons of Resaca, Georgia, Sonia and Jeff Nelson of Dalton, Georgia. Also nieces, nephews and other family members.

Tammy was born August 25, 1977 in Dalton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Sony Edward Jones Sr and Sharon Elaine Kennett Dyer and step-father, Fred Dyer. Tammy was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tracey Jones and Eddie Jones. Tammy is survived by her daughters, Tabitha Dagnan and fiancé Justin Lancaster, Haley Dagnan; sisters, Tina and Scotty Morris of Dalton, Georgia, Michelle Johnson Guffey and Ronald Guffey of Rocky Face, Georgia. Also nieces, nephews and other family members.

Service to celebrate the life of Fred and Tammy will be held, Tuesday January 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Ronald Guffey officiating. They will be laid to rest at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Keith Teasley, Justin Lancaster, Mikey Parsons, William Parsons, Alex Dagnan, Cody Watson, Ryan Nelson, Kenneth Dagnan Jr, Robert Dagnan and Payton Dagnan serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday January 3, 2022 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks the donations for the funerals be made to Ponders Funeral Home.
