Mrs. Tami Jean Koehler, age 62, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening, June 19, 2023 at the local hospital. She was born November 17, 1960 in Tucker, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her father, Master Sergeant Kenneth Paul Cross, brothers, Franklin Cross, Kenny Cross, grandmother, Mary Hobbs.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Koehler of the residence; mother, Norma Jean Cross of Dalton, GA; daughter, April Edwards of Chatsworth, GA; step children, Sienna and Dakota Townsend of Kentucky, Noah Koehler of Marietta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Melinda Cross of Rocky Face, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sheri and Tommy Grigsby of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Destini and Cameron Winkler, Payton Tucker, Preston Tucker, Corey Smith, Savana Smith; great grandchildren, Will, Jaxton, Alaeah; nieces,  Baleigh Grigsby, Cassie Grigsby; nephews, Kyle Cross, Conner Cross, Michael Grigsby.

Memorial service will be held Thursday July 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Wayne Cofield officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday July 6, 2023.
