Obituary

Mrs. Sylvia Grace Bryant , departed this life Tuesday morning, November 9, 2021 at her home, Hideaway Farm, surrounded by her loving husband and son.

Sylvia was born April 26, 1943 in Savannah, Georgia, a daughter of the late Sebert Clarence and Velma Grace Schild Johnson.  She was also preceded death by her only brother, Georgia W. Johnson. Sylvia was the Valedictorian of her 1961 graduating class at West Side High School in Whitfield County, Georgia.

She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-nine years, Johnny Bryant of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sheila Bryant and grandson, Hudson Bryant all of Ball Ground, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Lamar Curtis of Ten Mile, TN; sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, Carolyn Johnson of Lexington, TN, C.W. Bryant of Sevierville, TN, Jerry and June Bryant of Dalton, GA, Lillian Sue and Arnold Young of Chatsworth, GA; nieces and nephews, Kristy and Bobby Ward, Tiffany and Derick Knowles, Rodney and Gena Johnson, Chance Bryant, Mark and Jennifer Young; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sylvia Grace Bryant will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Center Valley Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with Noel Caldwell officiating. Hudson Bryant, Bobby Ward, Lamar Curtis, Chance Bryant, Jerry Bryant and Arnold Young will serve as pallbearers.
