Ms. Susie Mae Davis, age 88, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1933 in Ellijay, GA, a daughter of Jim and Lillie Mae Teems Henson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James J. Davis, son, Bobby Farrell Davis, brother, James Henson, sister, Vera Henson.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and William Larry Fowler of Dalton, GA; brothers, Leon Henson of Dalton, GA, Harold Henson of Chatsworth, GA, Jerry Henson, Mickey and Doris Henson of Canton, GA; sisters, Margie Howell of Canton, GA, Sylvia Totherow of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Richard and Tracy Fowler, Greg Davis, Eric Davis; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Susie Mae Davis will be held Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
