Mr. Steven Lynn Dyer age 44, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at the local hospital. Steven was born April 24, 1970 in Copper Hill, Tennessee, a son of the late Marvin and Lana June Dyer. He was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Lorraine Dyer.

He is survived by his wife, Marci Lynn Dyer of the residence; son, Steven Dyer and Angel McCurry; daughter, Devin Dyer and Corey Perry; brothers and sister-in-law, James and Angie Dyer, Johnny Dyer; granddaughter, Ansleigh Dyer all of Dalton, GA; nieces, Krista and Blake Smith of Resaca, GA, Ashley and Corey Causby of Calhoun, GA; special pet, Bubby.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Steven Lynn Dyer will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Wesley Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
